Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and get more info the click here bonus terms, website is at tradetheday.com.
